The Malta CIP NCP is organizing on 3rd March 2010 the international seminar “ICT-enabled sustainability in “smart” cities” .

This information and networking event will be opened by the Honourable Minister Dr. Austin Gatt, Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications and addressed by high caliber speakers, including officials from the DG Information Society within the European Commission. The draft programme is attached for your perusal.

Its final version shall be made available in due course on www.cipmalta.com.

Idealist mini-Workshop on collaboration between ICT NCPs of FP7 and PSP

The Idealist project under the Seventh Framework Programme (http://www.ideal-ist.net/about-ideal-ist) has been performing Partner Search for Information and Communication Technologies Policy Support Programme Calls CIP-ICT PSP-2009-3 and CIP-ICT PSP-2009-3bis (http://www.ideal-ist.net/partner-search). The project intends to continue offering the Partner Search service also for CIP-ICT PSP 4th Call in 2010.

In order to explain current possibilities, to hear about your needs and to discuss them with the Commission, the Idealist project organises:

CIP ICT-PSP Implementation report 2008

The Implementation Report has been set out according to the main themes and objectives of the WP2008. Where possible, the report already refers to impacts. In most cases, however, the impact will only be measurable after some time and is therefore not yet addressed in this report.

IP rules in ICT PSP projects

Please, find here below a document developed by the IPR Helpdesk on the intellectual property (IP)-related rules of the ICT PSP grant agreement.

Project proposers should always verify the relevant documentation and the grant agreement model for the call they deal with.

IPR-Helpdesk is a constituent part of the IP Awareness and Enforcement: Modular Based Actions for SMEs project which is financed by the CIP Programme, DG Enterprise and Industry of the European Commission.
