The Company's head offices - as well as one of its two plants - are in Rome, whereas the second is located near the city of Cagliari in Sardinia. In addition, Vitrociset operates with five branch offices all across the Italian territory. Throughout the world, Vitrociset has permanent establishments in Germany, Belgium, Holland, French Guyana and Saudi Arabia.
Vitrociset's specific areas of activity span encompass Defence, Air Traffic Management, Satellite Technology, ICT, Multimedia Technology, Environment Monitoring.
The VITROCISET activity areas spans from Defence to IT for public and private companies, from Citizens’ and Major Infrastructures Security to Satellite Technology, from Telecommunications and Transport to Info-mobility, Public Health and New Media.
Vitrociset partipated in several projects in FP7 as coordinator or partner. Having been part of a first-rate technical and scientific international network of universities, research institutes and industrial concerns, for years Vitrociset has participated - in most cases with high success rate and as key-role player - in a number of significant national and international “calls” for ICT, Security or Defence projects, as well as in NATO study groups as Industrial Advisor. In addition, Vitrociset regularly and actively attends Technological Platforms (Academic, Institutional and Industrial Boards) for setting the “Strategic Research Agenda”, which provides the strategic national research priorities.
