BESRaC IRELAND is a private research and consultancy practice in Ireland specialising
in Sustainable Energy in the Built Environment and is seeking research partners
for the current or future Intelligent Energy Calls.

We have significant research and consultancy experience including being involved
in STRIVE research though the EPA and CONCERTO via SEAI.

COMPANY PROFILE

Patrick Daly (BESRaC) has significant experience in the design and management
of building projects both commercial and residential. He holds an MSc in Advanced
Energy and Environmental Studies, has lectured in this field in the DIT school of
Architecture for seven years and established and runs BESRaC, a leading research
and consultancy practice in sustainability in the built environment, specialising
in building energy efficiency.

BESRaC is one of Irelands leading consultancy and research practices in the field
of energy in the built environment and provides combined research and consultancy
services to assist individuals and organisations involved in the built environment
to transition to more sustainable practices.

BESRaC are currently engaged in STRIVE funded Research under the EPA and are
acting as Technical Co-ordinator for the Dundalk 2020 Holistic project under CONCERTO.

BESRaC has been trading since 2005, and provides its services to designers, developers,
contractors, manufacturers and suppliers as well as providing advise and consultancy
to local and national agencies. BESRaC’s specialism is in the area of energy
efficiency and renewable energy in Buildings notably, Part L / F building regulation
compliance, building energy rating methods (HER, DEAP, SAP, SBEM, DEC), building
energy modelling, dynamic simulation, thermal transmittance modelling, air permeability
testing / analysis and thermal imaging.
