Multimedia Technologies R&D Laboratory (MTRD) of TUBITAK UEKAE would like to lead a project on both objectives of Theme 6 “Multilingual Web”.
MTRD is a very competent laboratory assessing speech enabled human-computer interfaces and speech communication devices, producing practical tools for voice-activated and speech-enabled applications and improving the R&D capacity of the Laboratory in the fields of “Speech and Language Technologies”. The MTRD research team is composed of 15 researchers with 3 PhDs and 6 PhD candidates graduating from top universities of Turkey and including Bilkent University, Boᇺziçi University, Istanbul Technical University, USC and University of Washington.
