L’ANNUAIRE UNIVERSEL (“UNIVERSAL DIRECTORY”) is a French SME which has developed a unique search engine allowing Internet users to search in phone directories as they use Google, Yahoo, MSN ...
The search engine grants consumers unrivalled power in finding individuals and companies or other information they are looking for in any country without the burden of knowing their precise name or location and having to key in all usual mandatory information in order to get the proper answer.
The UNIVERSAL DIRECTORY’s search engine analyses what user keyed in and innovates by trying to understand what he is looking for.
The UNIVERSAL DIRECTORY’s search engine gives access to everybody, including handicapped people, using all kind of devices, to search in any phone book in the world in any language using one or a few words as users do with Google, Yahoo or MSN with or without a keyboard and propose along with the proper answer displayed on screens or read with a text to speech system all kind of data such as maps, directions, 3D views, weather as you find them in yellow pages and more.
That technology which eases accessibility to large databases such as national and international phone directories is an asset for projects such as:
